Episode 19: Visualize Others Differently
Humans are conditioned to respond to certain situations in certain ways: we hear a strange noise and our heart rate jumps and get hyper-vigilant. However, we condition ourself. If, in your mind, boss=anxiety, mother-in-law=depression, etc. then you will feel that way when you see, hear or think about them. Break the connection and think of them as a baby, an old person, a clown, or something funny to you. After a while, that conditioning will begin to break down and you can live life a little less stressed out!
